On March 16, 2017 New Urban West Inc. resubmitted plans to the City of Escondido for 392 dwelling units. New Urban West Inc. along with the property owner continues to show a lack of respect for the property rights of the existing Escondido Country Club area homeowners. The insistence of a Massive Housing Project with 392 dwelling units crammed into the community is a total disregard for the defeat of Proposition H by over 61% of the Escondido voters.

The ECCHO Board will discuss the environmental impact report (EIR) process, public review and time lines. The actions the community will be able to take during this process with the City Planning Department, City Council and Planning Commission. To explain how you can help with future actions in a responsible manner, you are invited to join ECCHO’s Board of Directors and our City Councilman John Masson for a community meeting.
